Commarco and X-Ray bring the sector-specific press review “First Ray” to the iPhone

2/2/2010, Hamburg/Berlin, – X-RAY, the specialist for strategic and integrated media monitoring in the Commarco Group, is launching a new service: the popular press review “First Ray”, which is available to subscribers as an email newsletter for the “Advertising and Communication” sector, is now available as a free iPhone application.
“Zuerst wissen, was in den ersten Blättern steht” (“First knowing what’s in the foremost publications”) – with this slogan, First Ray tracks down the reports that often go under because you don't have the time: sector-relevant articles, interviews and exclusive reports from leading consumer and specialist media. Subscribers will get the top news of the day early in the morning in solidly prepared journalistic summaries and optimised for reading on portable devices. In addition to this, a cooperation with the leading statistics portal Statista allows the press review to supply relevant data from the sector as the “statistic of the day”. Another new feature is the website, which was designed by deepblue networks. The new web presence of the expert for media reports can be found at www.x-ray-pmd.de. The website presents X-Ray's range of services in a clear and compact manner – in addition to clipping reports and media response analysis, this includes innovative tools for efficient communication management. For instance, the “Topic Tracker” is a versatile analytical instrument: as an insight-generating tool for brands, consumers, products or competition, as a buzz monitor during product and campaign launches or as a reputation alarm for corporate communication.
