Communication and marketing services
The Commarco agencies’ core business is communication. They are service providers for companies and institutions at the point of communicating with their target groups. In the past years, Commarco has continually enlarged the traditional core business of classical marketing via advertisements, billboards, TV and radio commercials with comprehensive non-classical services such as public relations, dialogue marketing, online marketing as well as specialised services such as design or film production. The non-classical sector accounts for considerably more than half of revenues.

Strong positions in all disciplines
The Commarco agencies hold leading positions in all areas of business. In 2010, Scholz & Friends – Commarco’s largest subsidiary – was listed in the Gunn Report as one of the three best agencies in Germany. The International Advertising Awards named Scholz & Friends Germany’s most successful advertising agency, and a client poll by Handelsblatt in 2009 considered them a top agency for holistic communication services. The PR Group was voted most successful agency at the Deutsche PR Preis (German PR Awards) in 2010 and, in the same year, the agency received the most awards in the Public Affairs and CSR categories. In 2009 the Group received the German Dialogmarketing Preis (Award for Dialogue Marketing) from the German Association for Dialogue Marketing DDV. A subsidiary of WPP, Commarco is one of the most creative agency holdings of 2011 – as witnessed by the results of the world’s most renowned advertising festival in Cannes.
